Echo Valley Multisport Festival

The Echo Lake Multisport Festival will offer the Provincial Championship, World Qualifying triathlon, and multisport events on Sunday, July 7th.  Super-Sprint, Sprint, and Standard triathlon distances and Aquathlon, Sprint Duathlon, and Standard Duathlon for the multisport events. Race sponsors are Western Cycle & Blue Sky Financial.

July 7, 2024 Age Group & Development Series

  • Distances:

    • Non-Draft Sprint Triathlon - 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run Swim Cut Off- 30 mins

    • Non-Draft Standard Triathlon - 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run Swim Cut off Time 1:10 mins

    • Non-Draft Sprint Duathlon - 5km run, 20km bike, 2.5km run

    • Non-Draft Standard Duathlon - 10km run, 40km bike, 5km run

    • Standard Aquabike - 1500m swim, 40km bike

    • Sprint Aquathlon - 750m swim, 5km run

    • Draft Legal Sprint Triathlon - Development Series (Ages 16-23) -750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run

    • Draft Legal Supersprint Triathlon - Development Series (Ages 14-15) - 300m Swim, 6km Bike, 1.5km Run

    • NEW EVENT -Age Group 4X Mixed Team Relay (teams must have 2 females and 2 males)

July 6, 2024 Kids of Steel

Kids of Steel Aquathlon (Swim-Run)

Time: The kids' event will be on Saturday morning.


  • Age range: 6 to 15 years old.

  • Aquathlon Distances: These will be graduated based on age range categories with similar swim/run distances.

  • Examples: ages 8-9 years 100m swim/400m run;

  • 10-11 years 200m swim/500m run, etc.

  • The swim will be in Echo Lake along the beach shore (no deeper than standing depth) with multiple loops depending on age/distance.

  • The run will be within Echo Valley Provincial Park (on Echo Lakeside only), making multiple loops depending on age/distance.


*Additional Details: You must have a valid Saskatchewan Triathlon membership. For adults, if you do not have an annual STAC membership, a $30 STAC single-day membership fee will be added to the registration. Same for kids, except it is $15 for a youth single-day membership.
**Entry fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, no exceptions.
