Campbell & Haliburton Group Brent Gibson Memorial Icebreaker Triathlon
Welcome to the Campbell & Haliburton Group Brent Gibson Memorial Icebreaker Triathlon!

New for this year — we are thrilled to officially welcome paratriathletes to the Icebreaker Triathlon. For the first time, the event has been structured to accommodate para-athletes, reflecting our commitment to making the sport more inclusive and accessible for everyone. If you are registering as a paratriathlete, please complete the para-athlete registration questionnaire during registration so we can ensure the appropriate accommodations are in place to support your race experience.

This event is held in memory of Brent Gibson, founder of the Regina Multisport Club, who passed away unexpectedly in October 2006. Brent brought triathletes together to build stronger training opportunities and events in our city — and most importantly, he made sure the sport was always fun and welcoming for everyone. In honour of Brent’s spirit, we present the Middle of the Pack Award, awarded to the athlete who finishes exactly in the middle of the race results — celebrating participation, community, and the joy of racing.
