Echo Lake Multisport Festival Powered by Western Cycle Registration to Open May 30, 2018
RMC is very excited to announce that the registration for the much anticipated Echo Lake Multisport Festival Powered by Western Cycle will open tomorrow, Wednesday May 30, 2018. Spaces are limited so register early to avoid disappointment!
Sponsored by Western Cycle SFS, the Echo Lake Triathlon will offer Sprint (with both draft legal and Non-draft legal races), Standard (aka Olympic), as well as Aquathlon, Sprint Duathlon, and Standard Duathlon distances for male and female athletes, with teams being accepted as well. A Kids Splash & Sprint will again be offered this year following the Adult Race.
**NEW THIS YEAR. The Echo Lake Multisport Festival is a
Official 2018 Age Group World Championship Qualifying Event for the 2019 ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Standard Triathlon (2 spots per age group, per gender)
Official 2018 Age Group World Championship Qualifying Event for the 2019 ITU Multisport World Championships Festival in Pontevedra, Spain.
Standard Duathlon / Aquathlon (1 spot per age group, per gender)

Cost: Early bird pricing of $80 until June 15th, 2018. $100 afterwards.
Kids Splash and Sprint: $10 or FREE (!!!) if you are a Sask Triathlon member!​

Standard Triathlon - 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
Standard Duathlon - 1km run, 40km bike, 10km run
Standard Aquabike - 1500m swim, 40km bike
Sprint Triathlon - 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
Sprint Duathlon - 1km run, 20km bike, 5km run
Sprint Aquabike - 750m swim, 20km bike
Draft Legal Sprint Distance Triathlon - 750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
Kids of Steel Aquathlon (Swim-Run)
Time: Kids event will be in the morning right after adult event is complete. All kids can cheer their adult on, and vice versa!
Age range: 4 to 15 years old.
Aquathlon Distances: Will be graduated based on age range categories - which will have similar swim/run distances as Kids of Steel races (like the Icebreaker).
Examples: ages 6-7 50m swim/500m run; 8-9 100m swim/1km run, etc.
All registrants for the kids portion will be contacted after registration closes to finalize, with the parents, the distance options that work best for your youth.
Swim will be in Echo Lake along the beach shore (no deeper than standing depth) with multiple loops depending on age/distance.
Run will be within Echo Valley Provincial Park (on Echo Lake side only) doing multiple loops depending on age/distance.

*Additional Details: You must have a valid Saskatchewan Triathlon membership. For adults, if you do not have an annual STAC membership, a $20 STAC single-day membership fee will be added to the registration. Same for kids, except it is $10 for a youth single-day membership. **Entry fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, no exceptions.
