First up, Natalia Kolesova was awarded 2017 Rookie of the Year! Nata is a dedicated athlete who trains with our junior team. She comes from a swimming background and started racing triathlon this past year. She was one of the top 3 female triathletes in Saskatchewan in her first year and represented Sask at Canada games. She also won the sprit distance triathlon at Riding Mountain.
We are very proud to have such a dedicated and talented athlete on our team!
Congrats Nata!

Youth Athlete of the Year
Shout out to Molly “All I Do Is Win” Lakustiak - TriSask Youth Athlete of the Year!!
Molly quite literally won everything she entered - in 2017 she was the 12/13 Year Old NATIONAL Champion and won many other titles across Western Canada. She also competed in an ITU Under 26 event (she is still a few years from a learners license!) and finished 7th overall.
Coach Brendan says that Molly’s success comes from her dedication to practice and her drive for self improvement. We are lucky to have her on our team!

Congratulations Theresa Gibson - Triathlon Saskatchewan Volunteer of the Year! Theresa and her husband Mark have done a tremendous amount to advance the sport of triathlon in Regina in the past 10 years. Thanks for EVERYTHING Theresa!!
