Kôna Crown
March 4, 2018
Kôna mean “snow” in Cree. The event is named the Kôna Crown as this is the final and most challenging event in the RMC’s Lost Lake Snowshoe Series. The course will not be groomed so you should expect uneven surfaces and occasionally spots with knee deep powder. The Kôna Crown is made up of some short steep climbs covered in deep snow, fast open areas and possibly even a shallow stream crossing. It may sound challenging but the Kôna Crown is still suitable for beginners. The event will have the option of a short course, long course and a Citizen Class distance.
The event will start at the Tor Hill Club House and continue onto the Murray Golf Course then finish back at the Tor Hill Club House. Again, this course will not be groomed so you should expect uneven surfaces and occasionally spots with knee deep powder. Although, those who are ahead of you will be blazing a mighty fine trail of packed snow for you to follow!

LOST LAKE SNOWSHOE & FAT BIKE SERIES
February 4th & March 4th, 2018
The Regina Multisport Club and Fresh Air Experience proudly present the fourth annual "Lost Lake Snowshoe & Fat Bike Series."
The Lost Lake Snowshoe Series consists of two events "Deer Valley" and the "Kôna Crown." The first event takes place in Deer valley on the golf course while the "Kôna Crown" take place in Regina's forgotten park, Kings Park. These events are suitable for first time snowshoers right through to experienced athletes. The courses for both events will remain un-groomed. This means that you should expect to encounter both hard packed and powder snow surfaces throughout the course.
There will be three distances to choose from with a Citizen Class course of approximately 3.5km , a short course of approx 5km and a long course coming in around 10km.
No experience is needed to take part and first timers are welcome. The courses will be well marked and the scenery will be beautiful.
The fat bike portion will be hosted by the Regina Cycle Club. The will be putting together a new course separate from the snowshoers this year and promises to be a great ride.
Both events will have a warm building for participants to use before and after the events with access to fresh water and washrooms. If you would like to participate in any of these events but don't have snowshoes don't worry. Our Sponsor, Fresh Air Experience, can rent you a pair!

Deer Valley
February 4, 2018 CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF SNOW!
The Deer Valley course makes use of some of the best terrain available at the Deer Valley Golf Course. The snowshoe event will have the option of a short course, long course and a Citizen Class distance.
The Regina Multisport Club has teamed up with the Regina Cycle Club and added Fat Bike event to the series.
